In a world shaped by constant information and rapid interaction, strong communication is often associated with presenting, persuading, and producing content. Yet one of the most important skills for the communication professional of the future is the ability to truly listen.
Listening is not a passive activity. It requires attention, self-awareness, and the willingness to understand perspectives that may differ from our own. Despite its importance, listening can be surprisingly difficult.
This interactive workshop invites participants to explore listening as a practical and essential competency. We will reflect on why listening matters and what makes it challenging. Through short theoretical inputs and hands-on exercises, participants will develop concrete techniques for active listening that can be applied in our personal and professional settings.
The workshop approaches listening from three interconnected levels: listening to yourself, listening to others, and listening as an organization. During the workshop, practical tips will also be provided for those who would like to explore the topic further
