I started my career in 1996 as radio reporter and editor at the regional office of the VRT (Flemish public broadcast corporation) in Hasselt. In this role I developed journalistic skills such as editing, researching, writing news items, interviewing, and reading radionews according to the VRT standard.

How can we as communication professionals contribute to the enforcement of civic engagement within the university and how do we handle civic in our communication activities?

Session in-depth

We would like to work on the question of what our role as communications professionals is in the process of being a civic university and what kind of actions do we have to develop in order to be civic. How do we make these actions last and get them profoundly implemented in our corporate activities. We would like to develop an interactive session by exchanging ideas, experiences and good practices. Learning from each other is our key objective.
